Our journey proved to be the way of the incarnation which was taking care of the poor, like Jesus who served people unconditionally instead of being served.
Our formal formation began on 1945, and 6 Little Servants took their first vows on January 10th, 1947. We began our first apostolic activity when sent to the former Hapduk Church. We were sent to care for the impoverished as our first priority, then, orphans, wounded, separated families, and the elderly from the war.
Our founder quickly arranged for a draft of the regulation for the Little Servants when the war took place due to all
the uncertainty surrounding the future of the newborn community. He was granted approval from bishop No Ki-nam,
Archbishop of the diocese of Seoul in July, 1945 and confirmed by Pope Pio XII on February 3rd, 1949. By doing so, he set up the foundation that states the charism and mission of the Little Servants.
